Hello! Sorry for not posting for a while, we’ve been busy. Here are some of the things going on in our life right now.
Last week Menan was moved to another foster home that specializes in teenaged girls. It’s a really nice foster home and we’re happy that she is doing well there.
On Monday we went to a campaign kickoff for Scott Kirkland who is running for congressman in our district. He sounds conservative and we are pleased with what we heard.
We have found out that we have a rats in our garage again! Luckily this time it’s only the garage and NOT in the house. Mom is fed up with having wild rats around our house and finally said that we could get a dog to keep the rats away. Yesterday we found a dead rat on our lawn. It was weird.
Since then, both Ellen and I have gone a little crazy about researching dogs. We are thinking a small hunting dog like the Rat Terrier or the Beagle because after being trained they as supposedly excellent rat hunters.
Next week my Dad is going to a space conference in Phoenix with Grandpa Cate and Uncle Derek and Uncle Vincent. This is the fourth or fifth year running and it is a fun father son get together for them.
The weekend after they get back, we are renting an RV and going camping at a beach in Santa Cruz which we are all looking forward to. (Ricky is especially excited)
